CPC became Best Foods, and acquired Iberia Food’s totality.
Starting the new millennium Unilever acquired Best Foods.
In 2004 Iberia Foods was acquired by Brooklyn Bottling Company (BBC) – a manufacturer and distributor of domestic and international beverage brands, such as Tropical Fantasy, Nature’s Own, Best Health, Squeez’r, Country Club from the Dominican Republic, Postobón from Colombia, D&G from Jamaica, and Cola Lacaye from Haiti.
BBC’s owner, Eric Miller, saw great opportunities in the ethnic markets and began to further invest in expanding the company business – while diversity in the U.S. population demographics continued to increase.
