Angel hair pasta is characterized by very thin, rod-shaped noodles formed into long strands.
Thinner than spaghetti, these delicate angel hair strands are best served in light sauces.
Simple to prepare. Bring 4-6 quarts of water to a rolling boil, with added salt to taste. Add the noodles to the boiling water and stir gently. If making al dente pasta, boil the noodles uncovered and occasional stirring for up to 4 minutes. Then remove from the heat and serve with your favorite sauce.
